"The
piquant odor taunted as the breeze rose and fell. The hazy brown
industrialized air forced your lungs into heavy breathing. Kaoshiung harbor,
buzzing with rusting freighters, dancing sampans and tenacious tugs,
is a ballet of maritime activity?"
My name is Douglas Arnold and I travel
the world looking for inspiring places and wonderful
faces to both write about and photograph.
I received my professional training
and education at the world-renowned University of Missouri - Columbia School
of Journalism. Studying with some of the top talents in writing
and photojournalism, Mizzou sharpened my skills and helped me develop a
pride in creating the right words and images to tell a story.
My professional career includes working
for such employers and clients as McDonnell Douglas, ITT, ACF Industries,
AT&T, Southwestern Bell, Cybertel Cellular, AMOCO, the Missouri Botanical
Garden, MetroLink Light Rail, Tenneco and numerous others.
Take a few moments to review some
of my stories and photos, look at some related web sites and, before you
leave, please leave feedback of what you think of my work. |
